DR Distributed Recording System

In smart manufacturing, equipment monitoring, and process automation, temperature, humidity, pressure, and other critical process variables play a vital role in maintaining operational stability and production efficiency. The DR (Distributed Recording System) centralizes data collected from machines, production lines, and distributed monitoring points, enabling real-time visibility, historical data logging, and alarm management through a single monitoring platform.

The DR system consists of SensNode and MeshGate. Each SensNode features two analog input channels supporting thermocouples (TC), RTDs, and linear signal sensors. Its built-in magnetic mounting design enables fast, flexible installation on machinery, control panels, or other monitoring locations without complex wiring.

Measurement data is transmitted through BrainChild's proprietary Sub-1 GHz Mesh Network to MeshGate, creating a reliable distributed wireless monitoring infrastructure. Compared with conventional wired installations, DR significantly reduces cabling requirements while providing greater flexibility for system expansion, equipment relocation, and large-scale deployments.

MeshGate features an integrated Web Server and supports USB Type-C touchscreen operation. Users can also access the system through any standard web browser over Ethernet to monitor live data, review historical records, and configure system settings—without installing additional software.

For seamless industrial integration, MeshGate supports the OPC UA communication standard, allowing operational data to be shared with SCADA, MES, EMS, and other third-party platforms. This enables organizations to consolidate information across multiple systems and build a more connected digital manufacturing environment.

The DR Deployer App simplifies system commissioning by pairing SensNode with MeshGate in just a few steps. Through Bluetooth connectivity, maintenance personnel can also access live measurements and device status directly from SensNode, streamlining inspection, maintenance, and daily operational workflows.
