Skeye Machinery | Cross Roller Bearing Series Overview
Cross roller bearings utilize an arrangement of rollers set in a crossed pattern to achieve high-precision rotation and multi-directional load capacity within a compact structure. Different series are designed to meet diverse requirements ranging from high rigidity and load capacity to lightweight and compact installations. They are widely applied in industrial robots, rotary platforms, precision machinery, aerospace equipment, and machine tools.
RU Series (Integrated Inner and Outer Rings with Mounting Holes) Both the inner and outer rings are of integrated construction with mounting holes, allowing installation without additional flanges or support seats. This one-piece design ensures minimal impact on bearing performance during installation, delivering stable rotational accuracy and torque. Suitable for applications where both inner and outer rings rotate.
CRBH Series (Integrated Inner and Outer Rings, Ultra-thin, Without Mounting Holes) An ultra-thin version of the RU series, featuring integrated inner and outer rings without mounting holes. Requires flanges and support seats for installation. Ideal for compact designs where space is limited and both rings rotate, maintaining high accuracy and stable torque.
SX Series (Integrated Inner Ring, Split Outer Ring, Ultra-thin) With smaller cross-sectional dimensions than the RB series under the same shaft diameter, the SX series features an ultra-thin design with an integrated inner ring and split outer ring without mounting holes. Installation requires flanges and support seats, suitable for applications where only the inner ring rotates and space is constrained.
RW Series (Integrated Inner and Outer Rings with Mounting Holes) Constructed as a one-piece high-rigidity design, the RW series features optimized mounting holes to reduce deformation caused by installation bolts. This results in enhanced rotational stability and precision. Ideal for applications requiring high rotational accuracy and rigidity.
RB Series (Integrated Inner Ring, Split Outer Ring) The basic type of cross roller bearing, featuring an integrated inner ring and split outer ring. Best suited for applications requiring rotation of the inner ring with high precision positioning.
RAU Series (Integrated Inner and Outer Rings, Ultra-thin) A compact and lightweight design derived by minimizing the thickness of the RB series rings. It is suitable for space-constrained rotating parts such as robots and mechanical arms and supports rotation of both inner and outer rings.
XR/JXR Series (Crossed Tapered Roller Bearings) Comprising two perpendicular rows of tapered rollers, this series offers a larger effective load distance and greater tilting moment capacity. Ideal for rotary tables in machine tools such as high-speed vertical lathes, vertical boring mills, and grinding machines. Also suited for applications with limited installation space or where a low center of gravity is critical.
The differences in rigidity and structure among the series enable cross roller bearings to flexibly meet various industrial needs, from high rigidity and heavy load capacity to lightweight and compact designs.
