iCAM270 - AI Visual Detection & Protection System

The iCam 270 Industrial AI Detection System is the industry‘s first solution specifically designed for industrial vehicles such as forklifts. Unlike conventional systems that typically offer only a 90-degree detection angle, iCam 270 achieves 270-degree coverage with a single AI camera, significantly enhancing safety in warehouse and construction site operations. In contrast to current industry practices that rely on high-computation IPCs for AI processing, this system integrates its image processing unit (including sensor and ISP), AI recognition unit (AI-SoC), control unit (MCU), and IP69-rated waterproof housing into a compact camera sphere approximately 5 cm in diameter. This design not only simplifies installation but also enters the market at less than one-fifth the cost of competitive solutions.
The system utilizes Bird’s Eye View (BEV) techniques to accurately identify object coordinates and determine precise collision risk directions. Instead of the conventional display-based warning system, it employs a high-brightness LCD HUD, offering a more intuitive interface that improves operator responsiveness. This also solves common issues such as low outdoor screen visibility, glare, light refraction, and high display costs.
Additionally, the system's core technology has been adopted in a co-development project with a major Japanese construction machinery OEM for emergency stop control during movement or steering, aiming to reduce the likelihood of industrial accidents.
