Description
Traditional single-loop temperature controllers typically manage only one input and one or two output groups or alarms. In contrast, the MCT employs a multi-loop control principle, making it a versatile and efficient solution. The MCT not only performs single-loop control but can also chain multiple control units when equipped with two or three PCM (Profile Control Module) units, providing enhanced flexibility and scalability. This modular controller, measuring just 1/4 DIN (96x96 mm), features three slots on the back for inserting control modules such as the PCM and the HLM (High Limit Module). The PCM modules offer various output options, including relays, linear output modules (V, mA), and SSRD, catering to diverse control needs.
The MCT is not only an advanced controller but also functions as a simple recorder, enabling data exchange via standard Modbus and network communication protocols. Additionally, it supports VNC remote control, ensuring convenient and flexible operation. Despite its multifunctional and complex control capabilities, the MCT's setup is remarkably straightforward, akin to using a smartphone. Unlike traditional controllers, which require navigating complex menus with a few physical buttons, the MCT is equipped with a touchscreen and graphical UI. Users can complete setups with a few taps on the screen. The interface includes a frequently available "Help" function on the toolbar, offering guidance on each screen, making it easy for first-time users to get started quickly. This design significantly lowers the learning curve, making industrial control as simple as using a smartphone.
