Next-Generation Frame Grabber
The Xtium2 CLHS PX8 is the latest frame grabber in Teledyne DALSA’s Xtium™ series, delivering Camera Link HS performance on a PCI Express™ Gen 3.0 platform. The Xtium2-CLHS PX8 supports Active Optical Cables (AOC) and industry-standard CX4 cables. This single-cable, single-slot interface supports up to 7 CLHS lanes, each running at 10.3 Gbps, enabling image acquisition at up to 8.4 GB/s and transferring data to host memory via PCIe x8.
Supports New Line Scan Cameras
The Linea ML series introduces cutting-edge CMOS technology with faster speeds than ever before and a cost-effective multiline structure. It enables advanced inspection technologies including HDR, color and multispectral imaging, and multi-field imaging (single-channel bright/dark field). Linea ML features native optical interfaces, making long-distance cabling simple and cost-effective—opening new possibilities for inspection tasks. Together, the Xtium2 and Linea ML empower the most demanding and modern vision applications.
Free SDK & Monitoring Software
The Sapera LT SDK fully supports the Xtium series frame grabbers. Sapera LT is a software development toolkit (SDK) for image acquisition and control designed for Teledyne DALSA cameras and frame grabbers. It is hardware-independent, offering a rich development ecosystem for machine vision OEMs and system integrators. Sapera LT SDK supports image acquisition from devices using industry standards like GigE Vision™, Camera Link®, CoaXPress®, and Camera Link HS™.
Full Sapera SDK Support
When used with compatible Teledyne DALSA frame grabbers, a free standard runtime license for Sapera Processing is included. Sapera Processing is the core of the Sapera Vision Software Suite, offering a comprehensive set of image processing and analysis functions. These include over 400 processing tools, barcode reading, pattern matching (area-based and edge-based), OCR, color and dot analysis, measurements, and calibration tools for perspective and lens distortion correction. The standard runtime license grants access to image processing functions, area-based template matching, blob analysis, and lens correction tools.
