MachRadar® is a real-time monitoring platform designed for shop-floor operators, inspired by the concept of an automotive dashboard to deliver an intuitive operating interface. Its AI module automatically identifies cutting anomalies and classifies signal events (GO / NG), while continuously refining predictive models through historical data — shifting manufacturers from experience-based judgment to data-driven decision-making, effectively reducing unplanned downtime and defect rates.
The MachRadar® interface is purpose-built for shop-floor operators, providing real-time display of machining status and enabling easy management of MachSensing® Smart Tool Holders through a straightforward menu system — giving operators full visibility of each tool holder's parameters. Tool holders connect to the software via Wi-Fi, with connection signal strength and battery status displayed intuitively on the interface. Operators can also input carbon emission coefficients relevant to their process, allowing the software to automatically record and track the carbon footprint of each machining operation. During high-speed rotation monitoring, operators can utilize the Galacsync 3D status visualization at the center of the interface to display the physical forces acting during the cutting process, assisting in identifying potential tool edge damage. Real-time data for cutting force, temperature, axial force, and torque are readily accessible, with freely configurable alert and warning thresholds. When readings exceed the defined alert values, the background color changes to highlight the anomaly — ensuring comprehensive data visibility and immediate response throughout the entire machining process.

The Smart Tool Holder resolves this by storing and carrying data across machines. ● Real-Time Processing & Analysis — All physical behaviors reflecting dynamic tool changes are seamlessly fed back through PC-based communication with the controller protocol. ● Industry 4.0 Readiness — On-machine monitoring combined with controller feedback effortlessly elevates conventional machine tools to smart manufacturing capability. ● Cutting Force Characterization — An intuitive interface with clear visual indicators allows operators to monitor and interpret cutting behavior without additional training. ● Carbon Emission Calculation — By inputting relevant cutting parameters and machine power data, MachRadar® automatically calculates carbon emissions in accordance with ISO 14067, using coefficients published by the Bureau of Energy.
