Internal grinding is to grind the hole of the workpiece to meet sizeprecision and surface roughness.
Some hard and brittle steels are hard to achieve precision requirement by lathe processing, especially when processing a taper hole, deep hole or blind hole, so a proper grinding process is needed.
When grinding an internal hole, the inner space of the hole is usually small, so the stock removal and heat discharge become significant.
