Dexmart Showcases High-Performance Integrated Wheel Modules, Accelerating AMR/AGV Deployment

TAIPEI - Mobile robot and automated material handling development teams have long faced the challenges of fragmented drive wheel procurement, complex wiring, and time-consuming integration validation. Dexmart Technology Corporation and its subsidiary Dexmart Robotics Inc. are presenting one of their key products at Automation Taipei 2026 - the High-Performance Wheel Module series, offering a complete integrated drive wheel solution to help AMR, AGV, logistics handling, and service robot teams significantly shorten platform development cycles.

The series comprises three products, each targeting different payload, maneuverability, and spatial requirements:

• AW250 Heavy-Duty Integrated Drive Wheel Module - Integrates servo motor, gearbox, encoder, drive, brake, and wheel into a single structure, with a maximum payload capacity of 750 kg per wheel. The high-torque output design handles heavy-load start/stop cycles and extended continuous operation, with an industrial-grade structure suited for high-load and demanding work environments. Features a built-in electromagnetic brake with optional STO (Safe Torque Off) function, and provides speed, position, and torque control modes. Suited for heavy-duty AMR, AGV, unmanned forklifts, and industrial automation equipment.
• AWJ High-Integration Drive Wheel Module - Integrates servo motor, gearbox, encoder, brake, wheel, and drive into a single module, with a compact integrated structure that significantly reduces mechanical design, wiring, and assembly complexity. Dual encoder architecture supports high-precision speed and position control, with a built-in electromagnetic brake ensuring parking stability. The modular design directly shortens AMR/AGV development cycles. Suited for logistics handling equipment, service robots, and various automation platforms.
• SWJ High-Integration Robot Steering Wheel Module - Integrates steering and drive servo motors, gearbox, and drive unit, supporting 360° continuous rotational steering, purpose-built for tight spaces and high-maneuverability scenarios. Dual encoder architecture ensures high-precision servo motion control, with a modular architecture that accelerates robot platform development. Multiple wheel types and mechanical configurations available to suit specific requirements. Suited for AMR, logistics robots, service robots, and automation equipment.

All three products support EtherCAT, CANopen, and Modbus industrial communication interfaces, and provide ROS/ROS 2 Node along with URDF and Digital Twin model building support, enabling hardware integration and software simulation validation to proceed in parallel. The entire series is designed and manufactured in Taiwan, with customizable wheel types, gear ratios, motor power ratings, communication protocols, and safety function configurations available to meet customer requirements.
