On June 27, during the Smart Logistics System Launch Event, otobro officially unveiled its latest AI-powered autonomous warehouse solution — the HaiPick Climb (HPC) system. On June 27, during the Smart Logistics System Launch Event, otobro officially unveiled its latest AI-powered autonomous warehouse solution — the HaiPick Climb (HPC) system. Alongside this unveiling, four core technologies were showcased: a four-way shuttle, a compact vertical sorter, an ARB sorter, and an intelligent picking wall — further solidifying otobro’s leadership in the field of smart logistics.
The event attracted key customers from sectors such as electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical e-commerce, and third-party logistics (3PL). Attendees not only praised the performance of the high-speed climbing robot, but also showed strong interest in the system’s deployment efficiency and its intelligent algorithm applications.
The HPC system, developed by Hai Robotics, is exclusively represented and deeply integrated in Taiwan by otobro as the company’s only certified and authorized partner. This system features the industry’s first "high-speed climbing robot architecture", which enables a single robot to both travel on the ground and ascend vertically. It also allows for curved and arched navigation — completely overturning the traditional limitation that warehouse robots can only move in straight lines.
According to live demonstrations, an HPC robot can complete tasks such as positioning, lifting, picking, placing, and exiting — all within a few seconds. The process is smooth and stable, proving the system aims not only for speed, but for “smart speed.”
(Figure 1) The otobro HPC robot navigates flexibly within the vertical storage system, demonstrating its ability to move and climb in three-dimensional space.
Beyond its hardware breakthroughs, the HPC system is equipped with intelligent workstations and picking walls that optimize the human-machine interaction experience. Operators can complete the picking process using just five simple actions: Pick, Scan, Check, Place, and Confirm — requiring minimal training and highlighting the system’s exceptional ease of use and accessibility.
The HPC system also demonstrates remarkable flexibility in deployment. Its track system supports heights up to 12 meters, and each robot weighs just 75 kg, enabling installation to be completed in under three months — more than 30% faster than traditional systems. It also supports modular expansion, cross-floor operations, and multi-temperature zone compatibility, delivering on the promise of “one system to connect the warehouse of the future.”
(Figure 2) The otobro HPS5 robot works collaboratively with the workstation, significantly enhancing picking efficiency and accuracy.
Importantly, the HPC system is not only a hardware solution but also a platform powered by intelligent algorithms. Built-in functions like hotspot bin optimization, simultaneous picking and replenishment, and 3D collision avoidance significantly reduce robot travel distances and idle time.
Otobro revealed that the system has already been successfully deployed in multiple international markets — including European fashion e-commerce hubs and Asian pharmaceutical distribution centers — where it maintains a 99.9% order accuracy rate and delivers orders to workstations in under two minutes. Plans are underway to expand its applications into semiconductors, cold chain logistics, and ESG-driven initiatives later this year.
