With the changing external market environment, low demand visibility and frequent changes in orders have become a daily norm. Mass customization has become a trend, and how to effectively arrange resources to meet customers' increasingly stringent delivery requirements has become a critical success factor for enterprises.
In response to the Industry 4.0 trend, highly accurate on-site information is required to solve the problem of disconnect between demand planning and production execution in the past, which resulted in a mismatch between production and sales, large differences between estimated and actual production capacity demands, unreasonable demand and planning arrangements, and lack of coordination between planning and execution processes. By analyzing, monitoring, and tracing through the system, it is possible to achieve highly flexible and intelligent order scheduling.
