The Balanced Venturi Meter (BVM) is a new flow measurement product jointly invented by Shanghai KeyonTechs Co., Ltd. and A+FlowTek, a subsidiary of NASA. It is designed to break through the limitations of traditional differential pressure flowmeters in terms of accuracy, pressure loss, straight pipe length, and measurement range. The BVM cleverly combines the characteristics of Venturi tubes and flow conditioners, inheriting the advantages of Venturi tubes while greatly improving measurement accuracy and range through optimized structure. The sensor accuracy can reach ±0.25%-±0.5%, the measurement range ratio can reach 10:1-50:1, the before and after straight pipe run can be as low as 0.5D, the permanent pressure loss is close to that of Venturi tubes, the service life is 20 times longer than that of orifice flowmeters, and the repeatability can reach 0.1%.
