Zygo Asphere & Freeform Metrology

Zygo Asphere Analyzer can not only import Zemax files, but also manually input asphere design parameters. even fit the unknowing the design parameters at all. The fitting parameters include: Clear Aperture, R-value (Base Radius), K-value (conic constant), asphere multinomial coefficients (A2~A28), shape of concave or convex surfaces. Generate the ideal aspherical surface according to the fitting parameters and remove the original aspherical surface to get the residuals. The additional functions (Sigma Clip, Remove Outliers) can be used to minimize the effect of surface anomalies on the fitting, control the subsample size of the fitted data to save time and speed up the generation.

Zygo aspheric surface analysis tool can be used on the optical communication industry, such as mobile devices, consumer electronics, etc., to analyze the surface shape of fiber-coupled aspheric microlens arrays. It can also be used to analyze other aspherical data.
